By completing the Bliss Baby Yoga Online Fertility Yoga Teacher Training course, teachers are able to accrue these necessary professional development hours as well as to gain the all-important knowledge and skills to launch them into this specialised area of women’s health.

For Yoga Australia members, 36 CPD points (Continuing Professional Development) must be accrued to keep your membership active. These can be accrued through contact or non-contact courses. For online courses two hours are equal to 1 CPD point. The Bliss Baby Online Complete Course, on average will take 50 hours to complete, so you will accrue at least 25 CPD points.

For Yoga Alliance members, ‘Continuing Education’ hours needs to be maintained through both ‘contact’ and ‘non-contact’ learning. Every 5 hours you spend on the Bliss Baby online course is equivalent to 1-hour of continuing education points. So, if you take about 50 hours to complete the Online Complete Course, you will accrue 10 Continuing Education hours.

At the end of the course we will also include you on our online directory of qualified women’s yoga teachers.

PLEASE NOTE that our Bliss Baby Yoga training courses are designed as post-graduate study for qualified yoga teachers, and are not alone designed to qualify graduates to teach prenatal / postnatal yoga classes to the public if they are not yet a qualified yoga teacher (having completed a minimum Level 1 / 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training). The pre-requisiste to enrol in our courses is at least 6-12 months consistent prior yoga practice experience – so that you are familiar with the basic postures / practices / terminology and can therefore gain the most from this training. We strongly recommend undertaking a 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in addition to our specialised teaching before teaching any public classes, so that you can be insured as a qualified yoga teacher.

Read more about accreditation here.

Once you’ve enrolled and your payment is confirmed, you’ll be sent an email with your log-in details to log into our special student section of the website where you can get started with your course.

Our Online Postnatal course is easy to navigate—it’s all clearly laid out and you don’t have to be a ‘techy’ person to figure it out!

This course consists of 5 ‘Topics’. Each ‘Topic’, or section of the course,  consists of a varied and stimulating mix of video-lectures, sample video classes and audio meditations, and accompanying reading from the course manuals. Have your yoga mat (and yoga props like bolster, brick and blankets) at the ready so you can practise along to the video classes.  The focus of this course is on ‘experiential learning’ so that you can experience many of the recommended practices yourself.

Course Assessment Requirements

At the end of each Topic you will be required to complete a short quiz that helps you solidify the learning. An 80% pass mark is required, but don’t worry, the quizzes are multiple choice/ true-false and you can re-do the quiz as many times as you need to.

At the end of the course content you will be required to complete a written  sequencing assignment. Upload your completed assignment to the website (very easy) and one of our Bliss Baby Yoga Facilitators will mark it and be in contact to arrange the final step—your one-on-one Skype session.

In your Skype session your Facilitator will give you valuable constructive feedback on your assignment and it’s also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions about the course content.

Then, all you need to do is complete our Online Feedback Form (your feedback is soooo important to us!) and you will receive your Completion Certificate that you can either print out or keep digitally to send to registration bodies (eg: Yoga Alliance / Yoga Australia) to gain all-important CPD (Continuing Professional Development Points).

The beauty of this Online Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training is that you can complete it in your own time, to fit around your other commitments. The total course hours that will be recorded on your Completion Certificate are 25 hours—this is what we estimate it will take you to complete this course, including the background reading and completing your final assignment.

How you pace your study-load, that’s up to you, and what works best for your lifestyle.

What past course participants say

“I am loving the course! I am actually writing this with happy tears. I recently had a miscarriage and ever since I have had extreme coccyx and sacrum pain. My root chakra is in definite need of healing and your miscarriage section has healed me just by reading it, completely opened my heart and the movements have helped with the pain astronomically! Last night was the first night I slept through without being woken by my numbing pain. Oh I love you Ana!” – Nadia, South Australia

“I am loving this online fertility course that you (Rosie and Ana) have created. It is brilliant and so professional. It will be wonderfully supportive for me as I care for my clients. Thank you for the time and effort that must have gone into it.” – Amanda, South Australia

“Thank you so much for an amazing course. I was so blown away by all the beautiful content and felt like i received such a deep level of learning from it. Ever since Rosie’s lecture at the Yoga for Women training last year I have been craving more knowledge and depth into Yoga for Fertility and you well and truly delivered. I actually ran a small workshop from my home on Sunday to put what i had learnt to practice. It was a small and intimate group of 3 women and it was just so beautiful! I can’t wait to run more and of course continue to learn and understand more so that i can continue to provide a really beautiful experience for women. Thank you again. I’m so so grateful!” – Jenny, NSW

“The course was refreshing, and incredible valuable. It was a perfect balance, between yoga (physical asana) for difference stages in the cycle but also most importantly the emotional effects (and importance) on a woman’s fertility. The course has easily given me the confidence to share the knowledge with those who need it”  – Dani, VIC

“I have been blessed to partake in Ana’s series of classes which directly address the phases of the moon and tailors the yoga sequence to suit the needs that we have during different times of our cycle. Tanya Neate has spent the past eight years passionately pursuing knowledge of how to employ the power of yoga to support the fertility health of women.

The journey began as a personal quest to find a way to overcome her own fertility challenges. What she discovered was so empowering and transformative, she wondered why fertility yoga classes were nowhere to be found! It was this experience that inspired her dream to become a yoga teacher and share these practices with other women dealing with infertility. Tanya’s mission is to make fertility yoga classes as accessible as prenatal yoga now is.

Tanya has undertaken extensive Hatha Yoga teacher training and many specialised trainings in yoga for women’s health, including the Bliss Baby Yoga 100 hour RPYT Prenatal and Postnatal training. She is also studying counselling to further support her work with women experiencing infertility.

Tanya runs weekly fertility yoga, prenatal and women’s health yoga classes from her Melbourne-based studio Moon Tribe Yoga, and is a Senior Course Facilitator for our Bliss Baby Yoga Online Fertility Yoga Teacher Training courses.

Kind words about Tanya:

“Tanya knows exactly how to bring you into your femininity and your inner power.” – Erlinda

“Tanya is a warm and approachable teacher. Being on a fertility journey can make the body a hard place to live, and Tanya’s class has been an anchor point in my week. I looked forward to the class as it approached, and I enjoyed the benefits for days afterwards. The gentle support of other women in the class has also been fostered beautifully by Tanya – never intrusive but always gentle and kind. Tanya has remarkable skills in devising classes which target the needs of women on a fertility journey. Now, however, I think that all women would benefit from her classes.” – Felicity
