Feminine Flow Full Moon Practice with Ana Davis

Ana will take you through a beautiful, heart-opening Feminine Flow sequence that is especially beneficial and appropriate for the Full Moon (ovulation) phase.
Nurturing Yoga for your Dark Moon Menstrual Phase with Ana Davis
3pm – 5.15pm, Saturday 6th July, 2019
Learn how to adapt your yoga practice to support you during the menstrual phase of your cycle. This is the most sensitive phase of your cycle when it’s important and so beneficial for your health and wellbeing as a woman to practise a nurturing, supportive Dark Moon yoga practice.
Ana Davis will explain the key principles and guidelines of a Dark Moon Menstrual Practice and will guide you through a lush, nurturing restorative yoga practice especially designed for menstruation and to make you feel like the queen that you are!
Nourishing Yoga for Menopause with Ana Davis

Ana Davis will share the key principles for adapting your yoga for the unique needs of menopause and the perimenopause (the lead up to menopause). Learn some tips on how yoga can support you in moving gracefully through this often challenging feminine life-stage, and we’ll also practice a gentle, grounding Feminine Pawanmuktasana (‘joint-freeing’) Sequence.

Who are our workshops for
These workshops are open to any level of yoga experience—yoga teachers and students alike—and will include a balanced mix of practical and theory. They are also open to women of all ages who would like to deepen their understanding of how to adapt a yoga practice for the unique stages of a woman’s monthly and life cycle. You will benefit from each workshop, no matter your age or life-phase, and will be inspired to practise your yoga in a more feminine, nurturing way.
Ana Davis (E-RYT 500, RPYT, Yoga Australia Registered Level 3 Senior teacher, qualified Doula, Dip. Remedial Massage, B.A. Honours) has long been passionate about exploring the benefits of yoga and meditation for women’s monthly and life cycles.
Ana has been a keen yoga practitioner since 1990, teaching yoga since 1996, and in 2005 founded Bliss Baby Yoga – offering specialised yoga teacher training courses in the areas of Prenatal, Postnatal, Restorative and Women’s Yoga. In 2013, Ana also founded Moving with the Moon which offers workshops and classes on yoga for the menstrual cycle, menopause and fertility.
Ana’s first book “Moving with the Moon: Nurturing Yoga, Movement and Meditation for Every Phase of your Menstrual Cycle” was released in late-2018 and is currently available in both print-book and E-book formats. Book launch events for ‘Moving with the Moon’ will be scheduled locally and internationally in 2019.

Ana Davis discusses ‘Yoga for Menstruation and Perimenopause’
Ana was delighted to be invited to be interviewed on Pregnancy Birth and Beyond radio (February 2019). With Sally Cusack from PBB radio, Ana discussed the importance of educating ourselves (and those around us) as women about the changes and ‘rites of passage’ that characterise menstruation and menopause. Ana also gave an overview of how yoga can support us through the four phases of the menstrual cycle and during the little-talked-about phase of perimenopause (the lead up to menopause).
